The exam consists of 200 – 210 multiple-choice questions that are related to six main areas, which includes:

• Microbiology focusing on Bacteriology, Parasitology, and Mycology (19%) 
• General Laboratory Knowledge and Procedures (14%) 
• Urinalysis (10%)
